Boissiers Installation "Second Promenade" is based on different meshed media: images, sounds, music, videos and a computerbased text. This hypertext is in a close relationship to the original of Rousseaus Second Promenade and can be read variably by the audience. The installation refers also to the complete literary and philosophical work of Rousseau and describes aspects of Rousseaus work and life. The mediaartwork seems to be an essay, but Boissier describes also autobiographical aspects of Rousseaus work and life.
The aesthics and the conceptual quality of "Second Promenade", especially on the interactive level, is the attempt to find a new language for audiovisual media (literary an cinematographic).
