Description
Three destinations host this performance, which consists of producing the same “micro-action” of throwing a paper plane. A video relates the stages of these initiation voyages to a Stalin- era building in Moscow, to the Grand Canyon in Arizona and to Tibet. The video gives a double meaning to the notion of destination and impli- cates each place in its representation, its role and its objective. The very physical “plane” actions are a counterpoint to the facile nature of semi- virtual worlds evoked in the series “Wrong City” and “So Far, So Close…”
