Description
IT'S TIME challenges one of the overarching question that pertains to the post-modern world: the acceleration of time induced by collective behaviors, and the level of frustration it induces on individuals.

IT'S TIME aims at investigating several underlying questions related to time flow in the modern world: how time flow is perceived?... what consequences does this perception have on the amount of frustration or well-being at a personal level?... to what extent does an individual think she can alter the flow of time at a collective level?...

IT'S TIME aims at examining how the emotional state, e.g., the level of anxiety and stress amongst visitors, may consciously alter the flow of time during their stay inside the installation. For this purpose, the installation comprises a large clock display covering one of the wall of the installation room, and a plethysmometer located inside a box at the entrance of the exhibition room.

The work is based on the quantum information theory and its connection with statistical physics, error correcting codes and Monte Carlo markov chain methods.
