Description
Elektron is a site-specific installation examining the path of electricity from the source to the endpoint in the gallery. Electricity is invisible to the eye and yet indispensable in contemporary society. Switching on a lamp in our homes might seem as simple as pushing a button, since the layers of structures that enable this simplicity are not visible to us. The installation attempts to document these invisible layers leading to one specific electrical plug in the exhibition space and allows the visitor to relate to the complexity of the system.
