Description
a board ride on the air
Air Board is a sculptured board with jet engine and made for the purpose of hovering in the air.
It is loaded with small turbojet engine and allows one person to stand on and hovers a few centimeters high above the ground and glides in the air. The board can be controlled by the boarder's weight movement.
Air Board has three steps to be completed and each step is as follows:
--Air Board (alpha) --test model--
A work for study. No person has been carried. The final purpose of this version is to perform two jet engine tests and achieve a stable vertical flotation. The work started in the end of 1997. The experiments were conducted three times .
--Air Board (beta) --experimental model--
Experimental work with a purpose of carrying Hachiya (weight 51 kg) on the board and hovering in a limited time. The work will start from the end of 1998 to 1999.
--Air Board (gamma)(figure)
Final work.With a weight limit, the board will perform carrying a few persons selected among the audience.
The work will start from the 2000.
