However, We are convinced that the contributions of academics, policymakers and other stakeholders from other areas, including the humanities, arts and social sciences (HASS), should not be overlooked. So, I am pleased to announce a special open call for a research article collection that aims to examine the innovative role and contributions of the HASS disciplines, as well as interdisciplinary efforts, in shaping the global response to the current public health crisis. Go to the announcement for more details and don't hesitate to contact me for any question you may have. https://www.nature.com/palcomms/calls-for-papers#Epidemiology The Editor of the collection: Dr Diaa Ahmedien Associate Editor, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, a Nature-Group journal, part of Springer Nature. diaa_mohammed@fae.helwan.edu.eg
